Quality Assurance Auditor - Position #sr-02040
Location: Maryland - Frederick
Southern Research Institute currently has an opportunity available for a full-time Quality Assurance Auditor in its Frederick, MD location. This position is responsible for monitoring non-clinical laboratory studies and facilities at the Frederick, MD facility to assure management that applicable systems, facilities, records and controls are in compliance with appropriate regulations and standards. This role prepares and maintains records of inspections/audits and reports finding to individual study directors and to management. This position is also responsible for providing training on GLP regulations as needed.
BS degree in Biology or a related field and 4 to 6 years of related experience.
Must be able to perform work in a BSL-2 and BSL-3 environment.
Must be able to build strong working relationships through positive interaction with study personnel and scientists.
Must be able to accurately report audit findings.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency is required, along with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Position will require fulfillment of immunizations and use of personal protective equipment, including respirator, as appropriate.
Experience and familiarity with laboratory instrumentation is helpful.
