NCARSQA Scholarship Opportunities

The Scholarship Committee is please to announce that NCARSQA offers two scholarship opportunities. Each scholarship is awarded by random lottery on the annual basis. The following qualifications must be met in order to be eligible for the lottery drawing:

1. The recipient must be a current NCARSQA member in good standing
2. The recipient must have attended at least one NCARSQA training session in the year in which the lottery takes place
3. The same individual cannot be awarded both scholarships within the same calendar year

Dexter Goldman Scholarship Award

This award was established in 1999 in memory of Dr. Dexter Goldman, one of the founding members of NCARSQA. The scholarship awards up to $1000.00 to a NCARSQA member to help cover travel, registration and associated expenses incurred for attendance at the annual Society of Quality Assurance conference.

NCARSQA Educational Scholarship

This award was established this year. It will reimburse up to $500.00 for expenses associated with attending any NCARSQA session during the following calendar year in which the award is received.

For the 2006 awards, the random lottery will be conducted at the annual NCARSQA luncheon in December for use in 2007. Good luck to the membership!
